Got a urethane DRIFT pod from autobarn, been told that pods with metal tops act as hot plates and in effect might look good but actually heat the pod up.
I looked at those SAAS pods at autobarn, they come in a nice box much like the drift one i got. cheers. Last edited by falcon4litreOHC on Tue May 23, 2006 5:48 pm, edited 4 times in total. |

so surely this is the solution.

depends, where the pod is located, how much air restriction and how much hot air it suffers from, sometime a pannel filter is much better as it dosent get hot air, but if the pod gets cold air it may be better.

As long as the pod has a heat shield from inlet manifold( gets hot) and has cold air feed, it will work really well. my 2bob anyway.......
