Just wondering what the stock power output for the 4.0L ED GLi is? I tried googling for it, but I got zip.

You've let me down, Google!

If it helps, the car is green, not red

so.. about an extra 10 or so KW with an exhaust? That's good, I'm getting one done next week. First aftermarket Mod.. if you don't include that I slapped on a pod filter to replace the old filter box.

Damn that filter makes the car a crap-load meatier sounding

take the pod off it makes your car slower.

Now i have started a debate. But from experience the pod makes noise and draws in a lot of hot air == less power.

Also a pod is illegal (if that bothers you)

I've never heard of them being illegal. Besides which, if the police decide to pull me over, It's not the pod they're going to sticker me for, I'm thinking.

I know that hot air reduces your power, which is why I have an airbox too, to reduce hot air being sucked straight out of the engine bay. Also, some very minor bodywork has been done so the pod can suck in cold air from outside, too.

I like my Pod.

XH snorkels also add like 3 Kw, if at all, but they improve the breathing of the engine alot. ive got that and a cat back, and the old ED goes quite well, and mines green also.

i also heard that pods are illegal....but why would they? its just another component that filters the air. its not going to obstruct anything. pretty stupid i reckon
