heard a lot about the ba's and how its an optional extra.
im driving an '07 bf xr6 mkII. both tires spin on the spot, but lsd only works when turning (i think lol) so thats not much of an indication |

There should be a tag on the diff somewhere saying whether or not it is a LSD. My diff has it so I'm guessing urs would

A static burnout is a good indication. |

well i just checked tonight at a huge EMPTY car lot and both wheels do spin doing a stand still. so i guess i have LSD then.
what are the advantages of LSD over single spinners? |

both tyres smoke on the spot = lsd.
not sure wat u mean by u think it only works goin around corners?... like sideways? even a open centre diff will go sideways around a corner if u chuk it around. not much of a indicator. but the first like is a absolute indication. doin a standstill.. one wheeel = open centre or f**k lsd two wheel smoke up = lsd or lokka or wateva else.

Read my post again! B-Series open centres are known to spin 2! The only way to tell is get under the car! Being a non turbo BF, it will have an open centre unless someone forked out for the optional LSD, which is unlikely!

just look for the LSD tag on the diff or just jack up rear wheels (use your hands and spin 1 wheel) and if both tyres spin in the same direction you have LSD if 1 tyre goes forward and the other backwards you dont have LSD ...its easy

how the hell would an open centre spin both on the spot. it'd defeat the purpose of having an LSD. you sir = fail
