here are some views of how the new heater and AC piping meet the firewall, i will be touching up these holes a bit later. these pics are still in the fitting stage
they now sit firmly against the firewall

Image
here is the plate that i cut from the ba and used to help mount the dash, you can see how the two shifters are significantly offset.

hahaha flux capacitor!? isnt that a part from the back to the future car? :D if it is a fuel cutoff reset switch how should it be set? (when you shake it you can feel and hear something loose inside, if you press the button on the top it will click and then the thing shaking inside is then firm and dosent move.... the only way to loosen it up again it to open the cap and reset it with a screwdriver. should it be loose or pressed in and set tight??) cheers for the help guys.
Jesse

try turning it upside down and see what happens. i've got NFI how they actually work.
they are for rollovers.
button just has to be pushed, pushing the button multiple times does nothing if it's already reset.

Ok, so i have been slowing the pace down for the last few days due to being so busy and also not having a few critical parts. ive been preparing the engine bay now.
finished the k frame modification,
tidied up a bit.
installed all looms throughout the car now inlcuding rewiring the eb headlights into ba loom plus tail lights and fuel pump.. (Does anyone know if theres much difference to the ba and eb fuel pumps in terms of volume being pumped? i dont want to confuse the ECU or anything???)
installed ba under hood fuse box, coolant resivour, ecu, the complete airbox (very minor cover issues, easy fixed)
put in a new ef radiator... mite be a stupid question but the radiator has two threaded piping holes up the side for..... trans lines?? im unsure what to do with these as i already have the trans cooler installed (unless they pass through those points in the radiator..?) sadly i didnt pay good enough attention to this when pulling it apart so some info would be great help.
installed el thermos (very tight fit with ba intake but i avoided any modding)
ive ran half the AC lines and am waiting to get my hands on a ba condensor core. anyone got measurements on this??
Istalled wiper resivour bottle and lines
left hand door trim is done also. ill have to do some minor adjustments to the dash so it lines up with the trim a bit better.
