hello i might get a ed ford and waht to know if i want to put in a au 4.0 engine in a ed 4.0 sedan i want to keep all the original ed manifolds (im not using the bbm just the log manifold) and grind the sump instead of cutting the frame and use the 1 belt setup instead of the multi belt setup and add thermo fans, can yous give me a exact list of all the parts i need and a estimated time length and instructions on how to fit the au 4.0 engine in the ed with log manifold, 1 belt setup, and thermo fans

To run single belt, you'll need the belt tenioner from an XH ute, the alt pulley from it too, and the P/S pump brackets and pulley.
There is more to fitting an AU donk into an ED than grinding the sump. The rear of the sump will need cutting off and reshaping. There is a thread on here somewhere, where a guy has done this and there is photos too. Have a search.

and i didnt have to modify the au sump at all.. the only thing is the 2 lower bolts dont line up with the e series bellhousing..
