just wondering if anyone's pulled this off with an ef/el - exhaust out the left and right side? i reckon it'd look awesome, but just wondering how to go about doing it. i'm guessing it'd be bloody hard to do it from the back since the spare and fuel tank are there, but what about splitting it from the cat? is it possible?

Could be totally wrong...but I think someone said that they ran a pipe just before the tip that runs to the other side...or just before the fuel tank...or sumthin like that.

ED911 that was the thread I was lookin at. :-D

You can do a real easy job by doing what mrnasty did...run a pipe just before the original tip, along the bumper for the 2nd tip.

Or like twr7cx, just add the tip :-P Would look abit weird in the cold where the visible air only comes out of one tip though lol  .

But with twr7cx i think his exhaust dumps at the diff. In which case nothing would come out of either pipe :D

trust me, when done right it looked awsome, the car had the double tips on each side, and they were cut on an angle to follow the curve of the bumper with rolled edges, simply cuda :D

i agree with that but , you know alot of people would then ask whats under the bonnet and when u dont got nothing u wont feel all that good.

but it would look realy cool if done right.

well you just need to make sure you have something under the bonnet to make it worth while :)

Why not get the fuel tank removed, put in an LPG cylinder in the spare wheel housing (like on Holden Rodeos) and run another exhaust on the left?

If you were going to go straight lpg then youd get a custom tank to fit where it used to but with more gap. Fuzion ran straight gas but had the tank behind the rear seats i think?

correct me if im wrong, but cant you run dual pipes side by side until it has bypassed the tank, and then branch one off to the other side? this is the idea i came up with after much thinking the other day, as i want to do the same thing

afaik that's possible but it's entirely impractical as most of the exhaust would be coming out the normal side. i mean, for aesthetics yes, that'd probably be the easiest way but i think i'd prefer something from the cat back so they're both actually doing something.
