I wouldnt think your rear brakes would have enough bias for ABS to be of noticable influence...

If its auto, just put your boot on the brake and rev it a bit in drive, but i didn't tell you to do that, cause it'll stuff the diff and the box. and if you still have problems put bald types on it.

yeah the bias is f**k , but if the sensors arent on the axle the abs light will come on and it wont work, also it'd be f**k in the wet if you brake and the rears locked up and you had to pulse/threshold break the car and you got it in phase with the abs lifting up on the front. that'd be crazy.

and ya turn the abs off on gravel by dropping it with your foot on the brake, (like a standstill) soon the abs light comes on and it dies for a while till ya cruise normally - or ya could put a switch on it.

I havent ever tried to do a standstill in my car, let alone a doughie.......but I think it'd struggle with both. Thats a auto EL Fairmont, 3.45 LSD, extractors and exhaust

Not having any problems with wheelspin these days (unless too much wheelspin is a problem?) - auto, 3.23 single spinner on 225 tyres. Must be something to do with the 250 odd kilwatts being produced by the ol' pushrod dinosour 8-)

http://www.angelfire.com/extreme3/dws/videos/burnout.html

Its only a single spinner, and doughies, are strange in a single spinner but difficult. I manged to do a perfect cirlce once.,.. *PROUD*

Disclaimer : all footage was on private roads.....the only reason the number plate is blocked out is cos I have a rude sticker in the moddle of it

LOL I havn't done a smokin' burnout since the main street of Atherton back in 82 in a Hilux trayback ute. Some of the spectators were impressed but they wern't there for the start when you could see my 2 mates taking the wieght off the back. It didn't take long for the smoke to cover them :D

And you have never had so much fun doing donuts unless you've tried it in a Mini Cooper in reverse :D

But that is off subject, I have aged a bit since then and just like to watch others stuff up their mech's :P

hmmmm, thats a pretty sweet movie, i did a couple burnouts similar to the last one (the straight line one, at night), its still the standard diff we got on there but when i did em in the falcon they left 2 marks, left and right lol

yet for some reason when you get on the grass and use the brakes you only get one wheel loose??....without it, ie just flooring it, ya get both going!!
oh i had this reall funnny incident on the front lawn one day, ok so i was sitting there spinning it up, minding my own buisness, my mate was sitting there watching me, next thing i know he jumped up and gone "what the f%&*!?!?", im like what? so i opened my door and looked down at the wheel.
i couldnt see the wheel, the car had dug through the grass and hit a fat a*** piece of wood, so it was sitting there on the grass burning up like crazy....i should have recorded it!!!!
it woulda made you guys laugh, it sure as hell made me laugh!!!
