I did quite a bit of circlework with my old ED out in the paddocks. Never tried it on bitumen but I imagine it could be done.

f**k doughies. Id prefer to drop the clutch,get on the brake and leave 2 fat black lines all the way up the street :p

if i dont use the brakes it doesn't last long. no brakes would be a powerskid

i prefer the wet due to lack of power in my el 5sp 4:11 and a full spool and entering corners and 60/70 ks in third dont have the balls to go any faster than that clutch slips in third sometimes but we fix that with another kick lol

I've been in a stock ED falcon that hung some pretty good circles and the ol' au ute has never really had any problems (non lsd, 5 speed manual)
Sometimes its more like driving in a circle with a wheel spinning, but figure 8's are actually easier for me to do.

those are rediculous diff gears for a manual, there would be no point in using first gear taking off :roll:

yes i really should have gone 3.9 or 3.7 but i got the 4:11 for free from a mate with a nissan pintara
