hey, has anyone managed to do doughies in a stock standard 4l falcon???
i mean on tar, not gravel!!! i do em all the time on gravel but when i tried to throw one in the carpark the front end slid out, i managed to do a 180 slide thingy(u know like a doughnut only not a full circle) apparently i need to boost some psi into my motor or make it respond quicker, cos it takes to long to start spinning atm. anyway i must be off, post peoples!!!, any piccys/movies would be awesome!!!!!

fun_on_rear_demister_4u, they aint too hard. If you dont have LSD they can be a bit more like going round in circles with a wheel spinning though LOL.

boost/lsd arent requireed, just skill and a deft right foot. If i could do them years ago in an auto LPG CFI 4speed anyone can!

I have pulled one off in my old fairlane, non lsd, i6, suto, stock - didnt have zorst of anything back then, wasnt too hard but being single spinner the hard part was to not fry the one tyre LOL!
None the less, worked, left HEAPS of smoke to the point i couldnt see which way i had to go for about 30sec however not much rubber on the ground - those tyres were s**t to leave marks in any circumstances tho, yokohamas.. So yer ive done it, but it wasnt a falcon!

lol...when i 1st got my car i used to spin the wheels everywhere (its all gravel round here on every corner) cos i was before driving a old car that u could floor it and maybe get to 40km/h within 100m...driving habits stayed the same but my car didnt lol...tho yer i hear u its not simple on tar, this was brought up in the old forums before...auto tranny dun like spinning the wheels @ all.

it's the quality tall first gear, to get the rpm up takes more effort, fit a 3.45 ration diff, u will have no problmes

Whats the general concensus leave the auto in D (Drive) or hold it in 1st and punch it to 2nd?
I've done some awesome burnouts in my EF II Sedan on video, but without LSD the one tyre does get a work out.

used to do some nice burnouts in my stock ED XR6 5 speed.....fry em in second gear as well. Now with the turbo..i dont even use first gear...i just drop it in second gear!

mine does em and the motors pretty much stock(intake exhaust), but manny and lsd helps
(is 3.27 lsd standard? and how the f**k do i change my speedo (t5 and 3.27- from ed single spinna (3.08? and auto)

put it in 1 and hit the brak and smash the pedal and wossh the rears light up big time! 1 thiong i have found when i whip it around it stalls...  need a damn swirl pot

when i first got my ef, s**t easy. but that was on skinny stell wheels with almost bald tyres on the back...
