Keeping an eye on this that dose comes from boost and not having a blowoff valve and as blow offs dont help an auto down the strip its getting a dose! I have believed this for a long time that the Sssstu tu tu sound was from dose but I had no sound from my wagon under boosted, I fitted a turbo smart blow off and now it does the dose sound. Could you shed some light on what is the case there? there must be a confusion in sounds as a blow off is your psssst and a dose is tu tu tu tu tu? when you in melbourne next with it bring it in for a look! No confusion here I have had turbos for years.

Ah ha righto it does the tu tu tu but the only real difference I can really put on it is (hard to explain) its more of an air gushing tu tu tu were I believe a dose one has more of like a sort of high pitched squeal to it. Anyway back on topic will be real interesting to see this thing get up and go.

thought you guys might be interested in this, too - I'm subscribed to this guy on youtube, puts up lots of good stuff, at the moment doing an EL he picked up for 100 bucks - doing a thing called 13's for $1300 - which I think is pretty self explanatory - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFGu4Rij ... ture=feedu is the first episode, does weight reduction in the next clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ophR_0HW ... ure=relmfu but yeh he's just started on it...

YES SOUNDS LIKE OOPS CAPS! Oh hang on you guys might be right I was thinking that I had no noise before I put the Turbosmart BOV on. So I thought that it had to be all BOV noise, but I also forgot that there was the standard BOV on the car already so this would have been getting rid of all the boost pressure in which case the Turbosmart as you said might open a bit later which would result in dose. My apologies for being so stupid.
