thursday i finished tuning a gen 3 with andrew my s/a pro flash partner when we sat down on the booze!

well it was suggested that we take it down the strip to see what it had in her!

cool we all agreed the owner was rapt he wanted to but did not want to drive cool!

then the booze flowed further getting to andrews head where the comment of he should drive his ve over to run it as well we all agreed cool good idea!

then the dribble started,
andrew= "notice its all gm no ford going to the strip"
me= "your lucky the gm wont look as bad that way"
andrew= "fords are only good as taxi's"
me= "taxi ill show you taxi! what if i beat you in a cab? how sad will it be for you!"
andrew= "all ford are cabs!"
me = " well this cab is going to show you the way home"

that was thursday today is sat

so far:
i rolled out a wreck ba x cab from my wrecking yard still in cab colors still on lp gas this will be funny!
built an auto beefed up
fitted a std ba turbo and manifold
sump
etc. (engine from my bk project) (bk= ba engine into vk comm)
engine and trans in the car ready for wiring!

so the goal is try get the most out of a hi comp lpg or petrol powered ba so i can show gm lovers what can be done with under 5k retail!!!
(this also helps with future ba conversion r&d)

so far ba cab - parts sold $200
turbo kit from wreckers $1200
trans parts for patch up and beef up (not done right but its mine i can fix) $200 ($1500 retail)
welded diff $0 (full spool ordered $250)
lpg bits to liquid lpg convert (race only not road legal) $400
goodyear street drag tyres $300 from a mate need rims still!
intercooler $50 not the best but good enuff!

IIRC it's turbotaxi without a space. Made a name for himself around here after he posted a photo of his coke-can catch can. Ended up doing a good job though after some unconventional prototyping.
