i am going to be changing them soon, do i have to remove any parts in the car do get to them freely or can i do it without having to remove any parts? also wheres the best place to buy belts/pulleys? or is it all the same? any other tips...

i haev just done ythe belts and stuff on my car. its reasonably strasight forward. all the belts fit around the fan so u shouldnt have to take anything off. except the air box lid

yep its easy as nethin...el its even easier again can do it without ne tools n just ur hands...cut off the old 1 n if u wrap it round right u can fit it on without ne tools just by pullin it round the tensioner...(automatic tensiionerssnsnsns are awsome)

these may sound really stupid but what are auto tensioners? and how do they work? i know what normal ones are... if ya get me

Auto tensioners were on EF up.

Unfortunately we have to tension EA-ED belts by hand :evil:

liek chicken said it a levelr style witha pully and spring and the belt runs over this pully the spring/lever action put "tension" on the belt so even as it streches the ble will have the correct tension a cool thing!
