I went along to the commodore car club of WA's dyno day today and dynoed my car.
I managed 153.4 horses at the wheels and bet all the commodore sixes. and the highest dynoed car today was a BA XR6 Turbo with 380 horses at the wheels.
hahaha it was a commodore event and the FORDS took it out, but there was a lot of pissing and moaning that the dyno was under reading.

Multiply HP by 0.746 for KW.

So about 114 RWKW.

Yep I remember the HOLDEN feeling I had a VR V8 berlina wagon.

On the dyno only 109RWKW from the 165 5 litre EFI V8!

yeah a lot of the v8's with exhaust and extractors were only around 160 to 170 rwhp mark and i actually beat a couple of them. I was a bit supprised, but hey thats FORD POWER for you.

might have to go a cam in the near future just to get a lil more out of it

with the mods you have done, 115rwkw sounds about right compared with jim mock's level 1 package. r u runing any sort of larger snorkel or high flow air cleaner?

Cheers Luke

Nope still the standard air intake system, i was trying to upgrade to the EL intake pipe and tickford snorkel but i couldnt find a second hand EL intake pipe and it would have taken a week to get a Tickford snorkel so i just left it.

All i have is Genie Extractors, High flow cat, and Lukey 2.5' mandrel bent exhaust system, no other engine mods.

EF intake piping with a pod filter can flow up to 118rwkw that was a stock AU, flowed the same with no filter and stcok AU piping, so the EF to AU is all the same for what its worth it seems, just looks the different ..

Geez, i wouldn't go bagging the Holdens RW power figures right away.
I'm getting 126rwkw, my mates EL XR6 got 119rwkwk, an EF XR6 got 126rwkw, all of our XR are manual. My mates VS Statesman got 140rwkw. The other week he got 142rwkw.
A mates Auto AU Series 3 XR8 only pulled 141rwkw.

This had me shocked. All cars are pretty much standard, so.....
