gday and welcome to fordmods

i did the thermofan conversion to my eb and i must say its the best mod i have done to the car, it now cools 10x better then the clutch fan ever did.

i did it about 3 weeks ago. i did it right the first time and used a Davies Craig wiring kit from Bursons. then the kit said i need 3 relays, two fuse holders and some wiring. the kit includes a wiring diagram. i followed it and had no problems. and my fuel economy is better too

have a read of this and it will guide you through what is needed to do thermo fans,

documents.php?d=97

when i did mine i did it like the diagram so when you have the air con on one fan is working away and when the car gets up to temp the other fan kicks in and yes fuel economy is alot better, i recently did a run to cummins here in south Australia and the car did 260 kms to a quarter of a tank of juice.

hope this helps

cheers

+1 for thermo conversion.

I did mine, and love it. More power, better fuel economy, better cooling, much better a/c performance as well.

Cheers
