Nothing to it.
Remove EA Fan and Cowling. Put EF Fan onto radiator. Wire up some method of switching fans. Your away. Nigel |

You should have done a search for "thermo fans". There's like 20 threads on this subject. Here's one I contributed tohttp://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12577&highlight= The only issue is the captive nuts and the little tabs on the tanks that hold the thermofans shroud on. If you have the captive nuts, slide the old shroud off and slide the new one in then buy a Davies Craig switch kit and an extra relay and fuse holder and that's it. I added a couple of pilot lights under the dash so I could see when they were coming on. Is there a reason you're using EF fans? They are multi speed, EL are easier. Not that wiring the EF's is hard. I think you just bridge a couple of the wires. You'd soon figure it out with a battery on a bench. I hope this helps. One of the best things you can do for an EA/B/D. |
