NEED Help,

Took my baby out for a drive on last weekend and the engine started to run crap. 6 cylinder is rocking so much it's not funny. Won't Idle at the lights keeps stalling and with the 2.5inch straight through system sounds like a 427 with a lumpy cam. looks like there is one in the engine bay too. considering how much the car is loping (rocking) at idle.

Idling at 300 - 600 RPM and the engine is moving at least 10 - 20 cm in the engine bay. so much that it broke an engine mount.
puffing lots of black smoke, can taste the Premium Unleaded in the smoke just breathing it in.

Makes me think its the timing, but what would have made it go out so far???

Any Ideas ??

The Immobiliser thats on there is playing up now when i turn the ignition on, setting the alarm off. Never had a problem for the last year its been on there.

What's the colour of the oil like? Is it losing coolant/water?
Did it first happen when you turned it over, or did it start while you were driving?

Had been driving fine for about 2 hours then just went rough.

Cant explain it. I had not been driving it hard, just chirping through the gears like normal. don't think the Eletronic Shift Kit would have thrown the timing out. had that on there for months now without any problem.

well it sounds like a major head f**k to me.
when me and my sis were L platers we praciced in an EA that had computer problems and always went to limp mode.
but your problem sounds a bit more serious.
broke an engine mount is the thing that gets me :?
