hey im having some troubles with my EA falcon
it seems to cut out everytime im driving only at nite time but
b4 it dies the lights on the dash and also the headlights go really dim and
then it just dies on me.
iv'e had ppl tell me its the alternator, its not giving the battery enough
power to run the thing.
but i,ve had 3 alternators from the wreckers and still the same could that
that be possible?
and other ppl telling me its the starter motor is gone.
if anyone has experienced this plz msg me thanx.
and aslo any help would be apprecaited thanx also.

a new realy would make a difference to the ampount of power the lights and stuff draw power from the alternater
could be going down enuff to be drawing from the battery when driving at night

check / clean your battery terminal connections and earth connections to motor and body
check regulator o/p voltage with lights on - should be approx 14v
check condition of battery :idea:

hey ppls im back again
just wondering if an EA falcon has a ballast resistor
if so where would i find it?
