hey all are the cams on an ea and el the same as i have an ea one and i want to get it reground can i put it into the el motor and is the cam gear the same

Most but not all EL are the same but some late EL have the AU 1.8:1 rocker ratio with different base circle on the cam.

check to see if you have a hybrid el. Most likly you dont in which case an ea will be able to be reground and used in ur el. Hybrids are marked by a code on the head, do a search on here and you will find out. Good luck.
