g'day
just got my EA running and driving. now it wont fire just sits there cranking. it will start easy enough with a squirt of start your bastard but it will not fire unless a starting aid is used. I have replaced the fuel filter and the ignition coil all the spark plugs seem to be getting spark and leads have not had much use. when it does start the idle is ok but has a miss here and there. Im starting to think fuel pump but if i dont have to drop the fuel tank that would be better. any help or advice or even ways to check things would be appreciated thanks in advance for any help. Cheers

Someone may one day have the same issue. I would have thought fuel pump, but you did say you can hear it prime. Just FYI, you can change the fuel pump without dropping the tank. It can be accessed through the boot. The hard part is removing the big plastic retaining screw holding the fuel pump assembly in the tank. If you plan on replacing it down the track, make sure you get a new o-ring...don't want to remove/install that ring twice.
