it looks like i can get a EL mont cheap and im wondering what would be the easiest way to swap over the engine and interior into my ed wagon? i have space restrictions too. anyone got any ideas or tips would be great.

Take a look at my build thread for my wagon. I have done just as you have described - mines basically an ED bodyshell with everything else EL.... Cheers RD

Or, you can do it like I have.
Mod the existing ED wiring to work with the EL components. BenJ

well really ide just like the dash and engine at least.and the handbrake... im looking at a t5 in the future.
