I've asked this before but what is the best converion to do here?

EL 4L? bbm manifold or mine? they should fit with minor adjustments.
all my acc fit apparently according to my local ford wrecker.

ED 4L?

tight budget - want power and reliability

cheers.

if you asked before, why ask again?

as for my asnwer.. the EL will need the thermo fans, and since you're getting BBM, you will probably have to get the EL ECU(lots of f**k around, trip computer doesn't work), or a thermatic switch, and an RPM switch (for BBM)... all acc should fit fine, AFAIK.

if you keep your manifold, then you still need thermatic switch for the thermo fans. Not much point in the EL engine without the BBM though :!:

As for the ED, good strong motors, they had the flat dish pistons, which were good apparently... all acc would bolt straight on, now f**k around.

In the end its all the same s**t, and just get the engine with the fewer K's. BBM manifolds are cheap, if you get the ED engine. you don't wanna buy an engine you're going to be replacing soon, again.

Also, the price would play a big role. You're call in the end... the power differences weren't THAT big... 148Kw for the ED, 157Kw for the EL. stock.

Cheers
