One with 6 holes at the front, a little hole in the middle and a big hole at the end that is noisy. My AU I had yrs ago had about 600 spent on a catback, I forget the brand but it was awesome, I thought it was a 2 1/2 but was talking to my brother (who now has the car) and he says its a 2 3/4. Sounded great. Because the car was lowered I couldnt get the back part of the system over the diff without putting it on the hoist so I drove it the 20 ks into town with just the front section with the 1 straight thru muffler... That was fun. ROFL! That would be a good system. It's usually a new cat that will blow the budget out, I've heard 2-3/4 dose make it sound nice, and yeah, low cars need a hoist for the tail pipe. I enjoyed my week of cruising without one

Chek out the Wade website, and a forum titled "forum open for posting" or somthin like that.
It's a pretty detailed thread about the results, pricing ad even recomendations for different uses. The 1636 or 1637s I think can be bolt in parts with minimal extra parts and no mods to computer etc, and you can get decent driving and performance gains. As a bonus the regrind cams can be cheaper too.

What woud you guys recommened me that is a easy Do It Yourself and not requiring too much money? I want it to have a decent sound and a bit more power Thanks What fuel injection setup is the 3.9l series EB running. CFI injection(Tennis Raquet looking air cleaner or Multi-point injection which has the 6injectors fuel rail and air box.??? If it's the CFI model best bang for your buck is convert it to MPI will gain 20kw at the flywheel..,. I have done it on my old EA s pack it it made the car sooooooooooo much better.............

Actually, that's probably the best question and suggestion so far! That should have been the first thing asked LOL. Combine that with a cam and you could gain around 20-40Kw...

Hmmm, I assumed that as it was an EB that it had multi point as standard. I recall somewhere in the dark dusty cobwebbed recesses of my brain that they ditched the CFI at the end of the EA.
Am happy to be proved wrong. Cheers BenJ

Series 2 it was MPI as standard.

never seen a 3.2 though. wasn't it only EA1? 3.9 CPI is slow. hate to see 3.2CPI

Yeah, I haven't either that I could pick, I have seen an early EA with CPI.
Engine code is A, 3.2 EFI. Factory manual calls it EFI, although I have seen CPI in other manuals. Will have 3.2 on the front of the head. Had a tyre munching 92Kw @ 4000 and a house demolishing 242Nm @ 3250.... Although knowing the alloy heads inclinment to warp and crack most 3.2s probably died that way, and an engine swap was easier than chasing another 3.2 head in usable condition...maybe?

tyre munching. house demolishing?! LOL funny stuff
yeh most likely they would've put a 3.9 or 4L in if serious problems happened.
