Did the battery light came on when the engine was about to stall?
If the engine cut out suddenly you have lost spark possible dizzy, coil or both. If the engine spluttered & then cut out you lost fuel possible fuel pump.

Check voltage at battery. Could be alternator too as batt light was on proir to shutdown. Coils are known for giving up at any time and so are the hall effect sensors.

tfi, its unlikely the coil would die so quick. but check both

Have heard that fusible link can cause this. The poster who mention alternator; it can't be, since the TA said that it is cranking over. If the alternator failed and the battery went flat you wouldn't get the cranking

ok here is the current verdict
i have put a new coil in still no go there is no spark the battery was fully charged so i dont think its the alternator so i am guessing tfi module unless it goes deeper and its computer or wiring so does anyone have a spare tfi lieing around |

Green and Brown; one's allowing power to the fuel pump, one's for allowing power to the coil. |

Silly question but did you check the fuse for your ignition etc seeing as your not getting spark ?. Also Grab a multi meter and see if your getting power to the coil and the dizzy, if your getting power to both of those and still no spark you know it has the be the module or hall effects.
