Hi to all.

I recently wanted to retire my 4 litre engine in my eb in favour of 5 litre windsor.
So i decided to try and kill it.
So i started to rev the crap out of it and instead of killing it it loved it.
so here i am in a muddy paddock doing burnouts and holding the accelerator flat out.
This was going on for over 10 minutes.
by this stage the water temp was getting quite high. In the finish i gave up.
The f**k thing wouldnt blow up.
So now i figured that trashing these engines wont kill them. But driving normally does the damage.

Who else has tried to kill there engines?
and have you had any luck doing so?

i noticed to my old eb took an absoloute thrashing i used to valve bounce in first gear and i would do 20 mins burnout sessions but it had a 3 coil radiator well this one was wide as a 3 coil. but i wasnt trying to kill mine so it used to get short (30 second breaks) but yeah that did reck the engine i srtated loosing commpression and was wearing my poor girl out but at nearly 300,000 thou i thought she did the job well

Last summer, travelling home from queensland my car dumped its coolant in the middle of nowhere. I travelled a good 20 minutes with the temperature hard in the red.
f**k my radiator and water pump, but the engine AND head gasket are still fine 8-)

EB 6 Multipoint.. well over 300,000 kms now , Trash it every day i dont think there would be a day where there isnt any drifting or valve bouncing. just done the clutch and put a slipery in due to lots of hi rpm clutch drops :P , oil every 3500 kms now.. comes out like it goes in , golden. still runs like a charm thats the old falcon 6 for ya Built Ford Tough

Oh and if you really want to kill it, drop the oil out of it first, and the coolant.

less than 5mins you'll have a sized motor .

yeah they're tough motors, I have cained my 3.9 for a couple of years now, boiled it a couple of times, this engine has done well over 400,000 k's and in the time it's been in the family (since '96) hasn't even blown a headgasket.
