I got an EB2 and its not starting. It happened after i partially disconnected the positve lead of the battery, there were a few sparks (key was in OFF) while i was putting in an amp power wire. tightened it back up and then went to go start it a few minutes after and it just make the starter motor click sound.

Im thinkin maybe the ecu has blown?

Retrace your steps exactly what you did and start checking:

Are the battery terminals secure and ok?
Is the battery itself ok?
Are your interior/engine bay fuses and fusible links ok?

Sounds like you shorted something out - so I'd say a fuse or a link has blown. You may have done other damage, though your engine should still motor over but maybe not start.

I'd be checking all the fuses if there was a fair spark......make sure she is in Park - although that doesn't usually make it tick.
And I doubt you would have blown your ECU!!!

What about the amp drawing battery current ( enough so the starter won't kick) Check battery volts first before fuses

This sounds like a one of the common smartlock things. Simply chech and replace your fuse for smartlock and check all your other fuses.

It could be the ECU relay under the eggshells overflow tank?

if the starter is clicking then it sounds like a voltage issue, put a multimeter across the battery and get someone to turn the car over if the volts drop to around 1-9v then charge your battery. If it stays above that, give the starter motors solenoid a belt with a hammer a few times, may be sticking.
