hey i just finished putting in my new taillights into my ea. im not sure if they are eb or ed 1s though. my mate gave them to me for free so i thaught id put them in. they are alot darker than the ea 1s. im pretty sure they are eb taillights. dose any1 no if the darker 1s ar eb;s?

they shouldn't be darker. They should not have a reverse light, since that was around the number plate. Maybe the missing of the little white squares makes them look darker? or they have been tinted.

Your old EA ones maybe faded, makes the new ones look darker.

Eb and ED are the same, are they different design then your EA ones?
as far as how dark they are, it probably has got to do with the condition of the plastic

get a pic and we can tell you for shore. sounds like there have been darkned looks better that way but i think it is illegal if it is to dark, not shore?

tickford_EB - EA lights had the reverse lights in the avtual tail light assembly, and not on the boot garnish like the EB+ had. Cheers

yes, but as well you will notice the lights from an EB or ED are darker than standard EA lights.
