Hi all my eb stalls all the time these days. You'll just be driving along fine then give it a bit and itll just stall and wont start for a while. Also, WOT from idle it bangs, shudders and f@rt around for a while before revving. Have so far tried:
fuel pump clean throttle body vac hose from fuel reg spark is ok bypassed ISC reset ecu Thinking about trying another fuel regulator, really dont want to spend much money as I am selling the car. Anyone got any other ideas other than the regulator?

low fuel pressure? injectors/filter
half tank of premium & some octane booster might make it go away long enough to sell it

Update:
This morning refurbished dissy cap, rotor button, plugs, leads are good, tried with and without vac hose on regulator (was told it increases pressure without the hose on, not sure but didnt work anyway). Tried premium, octane booster and some additive crap to "clean the injectors", probably did f**k all. Also completely took out t/b and ic and cleaned it fully, and made new gaskets for both. RE: Timing. I havent f**k around with it but Id assume it is, cos the car will run fine then just out of nowhere it stutters and dies. Usually pretty low in the rev range but not always. Wont start for a few minutes either. I can hear the injectors clicking and the fact it runs good when its not dying I'd say theyre probably all ok. It will rev to 5500rpm and hold it for ages so Id assume that fuel pressure isnt really an issue. The pump was replaced before I bought the car and the last owner was a douchebag and got sick of the problem. Could it be the fuel pickup? I cant get the bloody pump out.

Chuck a new coil in it. And some new leads and plugs for good measure.

Update 2: Got fuel pump out, took off filter thing but didnt change the problem.
Timing either goes from "doesnt start/run" to "idle goes up and problem still there/worse". Got it to the best place where the problem is pretty much the same but the car doesnt completely die. Now you go along, hit about 2500rpm or give it WOT, it will die, drop speed, then come back to life and then jerks and jerks then comes good. Have a really good spark thanks to ignition overhaul this morning. So have now ruled out: Dizzy Coil Leads Plugs Fuel pump Regulator vaccumm hose PCV hoses (I think, there were no loose ones) TPS ISC Throttle body Intake manifold leak ( I tightened the bolts, they were a bit loose ) o2 sensor (unplugged, didnt change problem) Injectors (all clicking) So, it starts and idles beatifully, stab the throttle in neutral and itll rev beatifully, its only once you get going and give it WOT or even heavy throttle that itll stutter, die and then come back to life. Tried everything I can think of, I doubt its the fuel regulator or the fuel filter oh yeah aswell, I think Im missing the nut and braket that hold the dizzy down, I cant really see in there (what a s**t of a place to put a dissy) but I can move it by hand easily. I didnt put it in diagnostic mode because a)couldnt find the plug and b)it worked without doing it.

I would be amazed if a bump could turn it.

Dont really care if it catches fire a day after I sell it let alone advances/retards a degree. Ive just got to get the thing to drive a few k's without breaking down.
