Ive recently just bought an eb comin from driving a yellow
Vn bt-1 im cleanin it up a bit i serviced it an s**t,the normal stuff u do when u get a new car! I noticed theres tranny fluid pissin out from the bellhousing.im a commodore man myself,so i was wanting some info on what it could be, im suspecting front pump seal? But dunno! Whats common to leak in these things? |

I recently had a similar issue. Ended up putting 14L of fluid in the trans over a week and burnt out 3rd gear. Had to have the whole transmission replaced.
As for the leak though I found mine on a section of pipe where two pipes rub against each other and caused a hole. If you've got your head under the car looking up it was on the left somewhere. Just drained it, cut the section of pipe out and replaced it with hose. Fixed the leak but by then I'd done too much damage. |

if its coming out from the bellhousing its more likely to be the front seal... it means the gearbox needs to come out..

Yea its definatley coming from the bellhousing an making an almighty mess under it even hitting the exhaust,is the front seal had to do? Ive never done one

it depends if you ever pulled a gear box out??
its not a hard thing to change, the hardest part would be pulling the box out... |

Ive pulled out heaps of gearboxes only done 1 falcon it was a ea.should b an easy fix then. I got this thing for 400 bucks an its micky as! Drives smooth as f**k compared to a vn.an reading about what power these 4.0l can pull with a bit of boost is f**k rediculous lol
