they are pretty similar car, the EB XR6 will be quicker than a stock EF/EL. The EB XR6 has 161kw, the EF/EL have 157kw and weigh more.

a good start would be a factory manual EF gli
would only need a couple mods to run mid to high 14's and alot nicer to drive than a boxcar an AU is a step forward again....... a manual VCT XR6 goes alright |

If the conversion is done properly, yes it should. My EB XR6 (conversion) was only a touch slower than my factory AU XR6 manual, both 3.45 diff ratios

If your just after power the EB XR6 is the way to go.
I would go the EF Gli if you arent after just power because like stated they are much nicer to drive and will take less effort to get quick. Also the Interior is space years ahead of the EB.

Or, you can have the best of both worlds, an EB/D with an EF/L interior.
IMO the EF/L don't look as good on the exterior, but are loads better inside. Cheers BenJ

Cheers BenJ That's probably the best answer. Altho i do love the full leather recaro's that the EB/D's had as options a lot more than the EF/L front seats. A manual conversion done right, as stated will give the feel of a factory manual, unless you install a heavier duty clutch & a short shifter, then it will have a "sportier" feel to it. Cheers ToranaGuy
