brought a punk performance chip off ebay put it in car starts but just stalls straight away even when driving :? what can i do

tried that the engine doesn't even try to idle anything else you can think of :?

the money you invested in that chip would have been far better off going towards an electric supercharger. thoz things hail asz

just tried to retune the ecu didnt work ebay chips are a load of s**t dont waste your time with them cheers for your help anyway

email the seller on ebay and ask for a refund as item did not benefit the car as described. If he does not reply back too you then you should leave negative feedback.

The $20 ebay chips is just a resistor that can be got from tandy for 20cents..

Not true, the REAL chips you can get are the J3. they are avalible on ebay or a member of the site here.

I'll vouch for jason's J3 chips... That man is a legend with the EEC's... Its a fair bit over my head all this custom programming business... But what he knocked up for 200 bucks is awesome... Well worth it... can't even get a XH snorkel for 20 bucks... why on earth would there be a 20 dollar chip that gives, what is it? 20% or something stupid...

If it sounds to good to be true... Then it probably is...
