Well i was searching on ebay the other day and came across a set i was impressed with for a few reasons. Yes i know the pacies 4480's are the shiznit, but was wondering on peoples opinions of these as a cheap upgrade to my press bent Lukey's

Link HERE

1. Has mandrel bends
2. Similar style to pacemaker 4499's and my headers which have made good power, and same diameter pipes to the pacies
3. The price is only 299 and INCLUDES postage....

Downside is the o2 sensor is in a totally different position, but that would be any easy fix to change the mounting location.

IMO i can't see why they wouldn't be any good. Even if the genuine article is better, it'd be by a un-noticable amount.

They look of fairly good workmanship, and as long as they fit good, then i say great buy.

I would actually be interested in how you find them if you buy them, as i am in the market too. :)

Andrew.

ask the seller if they can relocate the o2 bung in the right spot to suit your car,and if you want them to last, get them ceramic coated internally-----getting my v8 ones done soon--less heat in engine bay.

I have those.

Theyre pretty good, especially when I got them for $209 when the shop first opened. :D
I got them exactly a year ago, and the only thing which has happened, is a bit of the paint has flaked off lol.
The welds are pretty decent, but I did use a round file on the pipes where they bolt to the head, there was a small amount of thin metal sticking up a few mm between the pipes and the flange(?). Took all of about 2 minutes though.

I plan on going turbo, in the distant future, which is why I bought these and not pacies, but after having them for a year, I cant fault them.

I'm sure the O2 sensor point can be relocated. Just might need to pay soneone to do it.

The main thing that I notice is that they are not pipe over cone, which the pacemakers are. Just after the 3 pipes got into one, it has the larger pipe 'jammed' into the collector.
