I've been driving my moms car EBII Fairmont with 4L I6 for the last week as it hasn't been driven lately due to her getting an AU from work.
Anyways, i've found that if you litely tap the accelerator pedal when in gear (unsure if it happens in neutral), the revs of the car will start to hunt, up and down by a few hunderd rpm from idle speed - sometimes even stall. Any ideas? I guess some sensors gone. Do EBII's have the ISC? Maybe i'll give that a clean out or something? |
