Very interesting setup there low ryda....Looks good.
As for madeaspack,it doesnt look like there is much flex in that rubber tubing???I hope that the fines of you pod filter arent resting on the plastic protruding from the inside of the air box, because it wont take long for the edges of the plastic to eat through your pod filter and detroying it.... Can the top of the air box still fit???I also hope that the steel tube that is pushed in the end of your intake tube will have hose clamps on both sides??? I have seen many pod filter setups and a few where they have a similar press in job like your pic shows, problem with it is that it will come loose and then your your engine will start sucking in dirt and what ever debre is in the air.You wont know until you pop your bonnet when you check over your engine or if you ever do.... Is the tubing 3inch???Other than that very creative.... I'm not having a go at ya,im just suggesting small changes that will help make it better and longer lasting.

it sucks directly from a 6' glass tube from a semi bellmouth dam in the front bar to a rough 4inch oval shape through the guard into the box.... it's performance rating is still only factored off the engine specs though... eg more mods more noticable

Remember that you can only direct so much into your engine. The engine actually does the work and wil only suck in what it needs.low_ryda's setup is quiet good.It is well boxed to keep away any unwanted heat. But the only down fall is that this setup will only draw in cooler air when driving, but when you are sitting in traffic or standing it will take longer for the engine to get enough air so the ECU will lean off and then when you go to take off it sucks the air creating a small flat spot, maybe very unnoticeable but will be present.
This will be very simialr to my setup aswell. But like i have mentioned by me fitting my setup it has acheive better performance,a better sound from the engine and also alittle better on fuel.

The plastic ribs in the airbox have been ground away so that they wont rub,the rubber around the end of the pod sits on the bottom of the airbox, but that is the only part that touches. The lid of the airbox still fits. I always had hose clamps on on everything just they arent on in the pics. Yes,its 3inch,its the bend from an EA 3 inch intake, which is urethaned in (for its strength and blackness)
