Hello,
I am part of the Rover Scouts, and every year we have a banana bash, its a long weekend of racing bash cars through different courses. My crew has an old F100 chassis with a F350 diff. We have mid mounted a ED engine and trans and i am looking at now wiring it up. I have kept the whole engine harness and ecm, my question is, do i need anything from the body harness or body control module? I am looking at using a heavy duty ignition switch and have to hook in a few EStop switches.
I have been told that things can be wired in to something you wouldnt think was related to the engine but somehow it is and if not included it wont run...
As it is a bash car, there is no need for a/c or anything like that, if i unplug and remove the compressor will it play havoc with my getting the engine running?
Cheers in advance,
Liam
