In the process of doing a engine up and while its out i want to do the head gasket.
I'm thinking of using a au metal gasket, but unsure at this stage if i want to spend the money. What have others used? |

id used the au mls. wont have any issues later on as long as the block is prepared properly

Yeah i'm leaning more towards mls gasket the more i read, I'm using one on my xg xr6 as it will be turbo'd but hadnt really made my mind up for the fairmont cos its a every day run around car.

The gasket is only part of the issue. You'll also need new head bolts?
