Hello all,

I am having trouble with my ED dual fuel falcon fairmont.

The other day it wouldn't start in the heat after work ( it started fine in the morning). It turns over, I can hear the fuel pump. I tried moving the shifter through the gears, nothing. Eventually after about 1/2 hr of trying, it just started. Once it was going no problems at all.

Today, again no trouble getting started, and then the same happened after work ( in the sun). Now luckiy i got it home but it won't start at all now(engine cold).

i don't think it is the fuel as it wouldn't start on either gas or petrol. Battery is fine. I am not sure about what the next mostly likely problem would be? I have read that the ignition coils are probable, but given that it runs fine once started would this be the cause?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Rob

check if you have spark mate, if you do that eliminates the coil
