Hi, am new to the Ford world and am seeking some advice.
My son has bought an ED and cant switch cabin temp from hot to cold at the dash control panel next to the cluster. The Sliding lever is loose and appears to be jamming and not allowing the cable to operate through its full range.
The lever, cable and flap operation at the heater box end are ok.
I imagine I need to remove the cluster to access the rear of the heater control panel.

Would appreciate any advice or referral to previous threads or service manual sections on this subject and reference to any part I may need to fix the slider / cable control.

ages ago i removed one & seem to remember it was easy removing afta 1st removing the cluster
