ECU is reset when the batter is disconnected. Might take a little while to work things out again.

Has this just happened or when you put the new battery in or has it been happening for a while?

List of things that could be wrong:
Fuse blown
A/c relay may need to be replaced
Wires are loose to a/c
ECU has shat itself

Did you train the ECU with the air con on or off?

It sounds like a prob i had with my old EF. Once i trained the ECU with the air con on, it fixed it.

The reason behind this is that the air con puts extra strain on idle and the ECU still tries and put the idle back to how it was before the air con was turned on.

Hope this helps

yer it's not a dog, while the ecu does learn it doesn't just get lazy & not do it's job.
i'm prepared to admit that you have a problem to which i can't explain, but it's not training the ecu.
perhaps the isc or idle speed ?

Yeah, the ECU has gotta get learned again.

1. All accessaries are off. doors are shut. Parkbrake is on. No foot on brake.
2. Start engine in nuetral & when it starts, imediately put it into drive and leave idle for 5 mins.
3. then shift to nuetral & put on A/C, leave idle for 5mins.
4. then with A/C still on, shift to drive and leave idle for 5 mins.
5. then take for a drive for 10 mins.

Try this, then you may have to reset base idle speed again.

No, just Co*kheads in charge. Wouldn't spend any money on tooling & hoists. Now they are going to spend $8m on the premises.
