hi all....
my ED fairmont drives great on the highway, however lately its been starting to miss when overtaking or acclerating up a hill. - pretty much every time its put under load. it also does it at idle to. any ideas would be much appreciated cheers. |

leads do look old. i will replace them if you think thats the go. i wasnt sure if it was that or maybe the fuel filter

yep leads. mine did the same thing. changed the leads and she went hard aghain

same thing was happening to me. replaced plugs and leads and all good now

Have had a few with crook leads lately. Plus when you take the cap off, check the carbon brush in the cap. Found a lot of them burnt out.

Another one for plugs, leads or dizzy cap.
I had the same problem, it just cropped up on gas before it did in petrol (I now know gas needs a stronger spark). Was the dizzy cap.

yeah leads n plugs.... dont be stinge and change the coil lead while your there.... if you can use a hoist its s**t easier from underneath....
