hey guys

have a ED falcon atm and i have washed the engin bay with water and degreaser, now it wont start i have put fuel in it and cheeked for spark and the fuel pump is working, the car has smart lock and i dont know if that would affect anything with water, has any one had this issue and fixed it as it has me stumped

you said u have checked to see if u have spark, but is there spark or no spark? if that makes any sense

map sensor connector may have water in it. had this prob my self and it didnt start after degreasing engine bay

Check for water in the dizzy, usually it will start if you wash it but it might run rough. But sounds like you took it for a swim lol.

yeah sounds like you went a bit bizerek witht eh water etc.... Spray some water dispercent around plugs, leads, etc and let it sit for a bit then give it a crank over.

Unless you had the pressure gun onto it, and you have opened up something and water has gotten in. But more likely just water condensation.

Try your air sensor, if its not plugged in, or the plugs corroded it will not work.
