Apart from cruise control, tickford head, suspension seats and badges
theres not really much more 2 an ed xr6 wagon is there?

Its all on paper Im sure there would be no real difference in a straight line!

Anyone tried a ed wagon xr6?

no they are still painfully slow.. but the extras on a xr6 would be minimal and you could improve the gli alot more with simple induction and exhaust mods and it would go better then the xr

The EF XR6 Wagons are getting quite rare.. well, they were rare to begin with. If its in good condition, and going for a good price, I'd grab it! They look sweet IMO!

The XR6 Wagon also had 3.45LSD diff, which would have helped a fair bit.

They also had a nice little rear spoiler on the tailgate, which are as rare as hens teeth.

If you want to build your own wagon, start with a Fairmont. They at least had 3.27 gears and all the electric goodies.
