the ed in question has cam and exhaust modifications. even in manual form the ba's don't suddenly become a lot quicker. they launch a bit better, same as every other car but i've done ba manuals as well. as both cars in the original post are auto the gearing will be almost identical incl. diff. the fact that he has zorst and cam means power output is in the ba's favour but not by more than about 10-15 kw. then factor in the ba gives the ed about 100kg head start and its pretty even but i still reckon the ed will have the edge.

check out my mods in my signature. I kind of went up against a stock ba xt at the lights. The old lady got the jump but it only went for like 20 metres lol. But yeah they look pretty zippy.

f**k ME!!! How about you just race the C*** and tell us how it goes!

Otherwise, you're going to get "opinions".

Fact: I have been in a 4.0 litre BA auto ute and, straight line performance wise, they are VERY good. It wasn't too far off the performance of my DEV3HL 5 speed EF XR6. Very impressive.

But yeah. Race him and tell us how it goes. It will be VERY interesting

if its a 4 speed bf xr6 i think thin the ED would win.

If its the 6 speed auto bf I think it will be close either way.

im pretty sure no factory e-series 6 has run a 14 stock. ;)
eb/ed xr6 (5spd)run a 15.2 or something stock

Most E series XR6s run close to same times stock (manual) all around the low 15s

about this race, think the ED will win, both Autos, ED is lighter and is slighlty modified, id say your ED would be good for a mid 15, low 15 if ya lucky.

Is what my Auto ED XR6 cuts. Mods Genie extractors and exhaust 2.5 inch with normal resonator setup and what have you. During this video I had a cheap super cheap auto air filter. Now I have a K &N but I cut 0-100 in roughly low to mid 7s.

(note one thing in the video it says 8 seconds but it counts go 5 , 6, 8 for some reason it skips 7. but yeah I like to think its fairly decent for a mostly stock ED XR6 auto)

My opinion ED.
