hi all just bought a edxr8 for my sis and we have just finished an ef dash conversion, everything worked fine untill i tried to wire the tacho up to the pink/green wire off the coil (this was to stop the needle from jumping around) i have done this on my edxr6 before and got good results tacho was steady and no problems afterwards.
The xr8 now starts but only runs for a few seconds and then cuts out... I took the tapped wire back off and still no go, i thought it was a fuel problem as the tank was running quite low but ive put in a new pump and filter and again still not working... Ive checked all the fuses i could find swapped all the relays and returned eveything back to to the way it was before the problem began, any help would be greatly appreciated cheers jesse
