Hi does anyone know approx what an auto electrician would charge to repalce one of these inc parts.

new $300 ish + around $50 to fit
second hand $65 and $50 to fit.
yourself, around $30 and 45minutes, including programing (learning).



actually, if you asked for a second hand one, they'd most likey bump it upto $200 for parts and labor, I mean $115 for a auto sparky to do a job! what was i thinking?!

I'd try a few second hand ones from U pull it, or perhaps one with (hopefully) a guarantee from Olympic wreckers at Lonsdale, or Athol Park Ford wreckers.

Easy to swap too, 2 or 3 plugs, a few screws and then the learning sequence.
