Hey,

Got some AU coil packs, and was wanting to know if EF ones are wired the same.

AU colours are Yellow, Yellow/Red, Yellow/Black..

EF colours are:-
Yellow/White, 3&4
Yellow/Red, 2&5
Yellow/Black, 6&1

I would guess they would be. Any good way to check??

Cheers

Daz

Thanks, mine are the same as yours Troy.....

I put a multimeter on the terminals, and there is no resistance between the power wire and the 3 negative wires....???? Is this right, or could they be stuffed??

Should be some resistance (not much though) - try between the three ECU wires.
If you have a diagram that shows you how it's internally wired (such as a Gregory's), you can take readings and work out what you expect - takes me too long to explain here.
Remember that a coil pack is a glorified isolation transformer, so the plug outputs will only have reading between (1,6), (2,5) & (3,4) terminals, and will be quite high compared to the input power side.
