just wondering how much work it is to get all working
ill need the ef tb as well and cable?

im thinking of the 4480 extractors too these will help wont they

Don't bother doing it on an EA unless your going to make an effort of putting smartlock in, and then an EL ECU.

Here is a list of stuff you need,
Vacume switch(behind the washer bottle)
Air ducting and air box
BBM manifold and all air lines
Throttle body
Throttle Cable
EL ECU and Smart Lock(Maybe the loom, i think there sequential)
Leads. (EL ones look neater cause they are correct length)
Rocker Cover( its got all the tappings for TB,etc) not essiential
Water pipe from back of the engine-Some hoses from water pump to thermostat
EL inlet manifold gasket Gasket(always a good idea to replace)

I think thats it. Correct me if Im wrong or if i have forgotten anything.

I had done this conversion previously in my ea but it didnt work cause i didnt change the computer, I used the old loom and I had to change it back cause i had a unichip and they werent interchangable between ECCIV and ECCV, that is all the stuff I had done to mine apart from the ECU+Smartlock. You dont need to chanhe thermostat and raditator pipes. Any more questions dont hesitate to ask. I also got parts if you are interested. I am from newcsatle, but something can be arranged if you are in sydney or something.

hmm seems like a lot of work
i think ill give it a miss if its that much work i was hoping for a straight swap over for a temporary power upgrade
i am getting mark at its performance to build me an engine next month so i only wanted it till then but ill just wait for the new engine

Dont go EF ECU unless your switching over to coil packs. EL's got the puter you want.
