Well under my wifes nose i have collected a few parts to make the mont wagon a bit quicker .
So far EF XR head which has had a port and polish i will be using a ford AU head gasket, EF xr ecu ( auto ). BA airbox, intake and K&N panel filter Genie extractors and 2.5'' cat back exhaust. So now a cam and a new fuel pressure reg are on the cards. Without the whole 4.11, 5 speed, it needs a turbo hooo haaa ( been there done that ) what have i missed??

Auto, i'd say shift kit + 3.9's or 4.11's.
What cam are you getting? After all this, get a ECU of some sort. Eliminator switch chip, or something simple . Should give you bit more power to play with. After that..boost

Its just a family car to get the kids in , i have the Zephyr and XM to go crazy with.
But the shift kit is a good idea for the trannny which i plan to replace soon anyway.

I'm doing a similar thing with my EF (on a lower budget than you though!) and I've managed to pass it all off as preventative maintenance or fuel economy (hence the BA intake and 4499's... hehee!).
