It can't be that difficult to sort out. just means Tighe, Crow, Wade, etc. all need to put in 1 single order together at the same time to make the order large enough, and be aware that they can't just order them as easily any more to so get extra stock now.

To clarify. Any blank in the same length and basic starting profile so SOHC 6 cylder. As for all of the companies putting there order in together, they have there is one importer in the Australia for the cam blank who takes all the orders and there is only one manufatcurer in the US who makes all the blanks. So although it may seem to us that there is plenty of us wanting them this is big business and what we think is plenty they obviously consider to be too small. The company in the US is a MAJOR supplier of camshaft blanks for alot of engines and the I6 is only in Aus and NZ so the demand numbers are no where near the numbers would be for say a Clevo. Years ago there was a company in Brisbne that were makeing them and doing it with success but they are now long gone. And also keep in mind the prices will go through the roof if we expect companies to over stock on blanks for our convenience. There opinoin would be to can the cam all together and focus on there top selling engines. It is all about money at the end of the day. A cam for these engines is already around 2 to 3 times the price of some V8 cams.

Don't want to get anyone too excited yet! But apparently the new stock of cams are here in Australia. I am supposed to be getting 5 next week they were posted today. When they actually arrive and are in my hands I will confirm the myth!
