Hey, just wondering if EF/EL Alternators are the same? how hard are they to change? could anyone give me a little bit of a rundown?

i think most are the same but some have different connectors. just get yours rebuild costs about $150. make sure your power steering pump is not leaking on to it as well as this is the main reson for them failing. not hard to replace if u have the right tools. snorkel off, fans out, belt off and a couple of bolts. just make sure u disconnect the battery or u will weld a spanner to the block.
