Hi Guys are the Engine cooling fans the same between the EF and EL 6 Cylinder models?.

If your talking about the twin thermos than yes they are interchangeable

EF has a 2 speed fan, and a 3 speed.
EL has two 2 speeds.

^^^^ Andrew - isn't that due to the relay/ECU setup though ??
IIRC the fans themselves are the same, except power wise EF has 2 plugs, EL has 1 plug - and this is easily modded.

EF has Two plugs one has Two wires (Two speed fan) and the other has three wires (three speed fan).

you just need to find witch wire on the Three speed plug is for high speed.

Here is a picture I had taken a few months ago of the connector. EF 2 speed fan. If using in an EL, just ignore the low speed connection (yellow arrow).
